Foot Care Nurse

  • We are Certified Foot Care Specialist through the American Foot Care Nurses Association (AFCNA). We received our training in basic and advanced foot care from a board Certified Podiatrist.
  • We follow the AFCNA’s recommendations for code of ethics, protocols, and standards; and the CDC strict guidelines for infection control.

  • The focus is safety, health & comfort of a client, with an understanding of key medical issues
  • A Foot Care Nurse does not replace a Podiatrist or MD, but works collaboratively in understanding the best practice & procedures for our client.
  • If we encounter an issue that is outside the scope of our practice, we will provide assistance with a referral to an appropriate provider
